The month of March flew by and with its end, we are excited to announce our Sponsored Soldier for March 2016. This month we honor Navy Chief Joshua Busey.
Navy Chief Busey is currently deployed overseas in Afghanistan serving his 13th deployment of an impressive 17 year Naval career. His record proves his commitment to protect the securities of the United States and its allies.
Cheif Busey was nominated for the NFP's Sponsor a Soldier Warrior Recognition Program by his wife because "he has sacrificed so much to support his family and country". Elysa wrote us saying "(their) son was born in November 2014, since then, Josh has spent a total of only 5 months at home, due to training and deployments." Elysa praises her husband for remaining a "dedicated husband and father", giving totally of himself for his work and his family.
When asked about his future aspirations, Cheif Busey answered, that he plans to complete a full 20 years of service in the Navy, certainly a honorable and distinguished career.
Navy Chief Busey was motivated to join the Navy because he wanted to "make something of himself" and his rank and position reflects all of the hard work and sacrifice he has contributed in the process.
"I really appreciate what your company is doing for military members.' Busey said " It's very unique and I'm really grateful that I was selected." To that, we are compelled to reply, we do this in appreciation of all service members. We want everyone who has served the US military to know how thankful we are for their sacrifices in providing and preserving the freedoms we cherish. This program is our small way of giving back to those who have given so much.
Chief Busey is just one of Our Country's many service members working at home and abroad, we’re proud to offer our support and gratitude from home. On behalf of the team at NFP Gear and all the members of The Movement, thank you, Navy Chief Joshua Busey for your service.
The NFP Sponsor A Soldier Program represents our effort to support our US Military Members. We can’t repay them for their sacrifice, but we can pay tribute to our Soldiers, Marines, Airmen, and Sailors with this small token of our sincere appreciation. We hope these gifts of supplements and clothing will provide some relief to those living without the comforts of home.
